Acute Appendicitis wth Ruptured Appendix - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This medical exhibit depicts acute appendicitis with subsequent rupture using two illustrations. The first image depicts an anterior (front) cut-away view of the male abdomen with a label pointing to the enlarged, inflamed vermiform appendix. The second illustration shows a blow out of the appendix with fecal material leaking into the peritoneal cavity, contaminating the abdomen.
