Achilles Tendon Reconstruction - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This stock medical exhibit depicts reconstruction of the achilles tendon using three illustrations. The first illustration displays a posterior view of the normal anatomy of the left foot and ankle. The second illustration demonstrates a ruptured achilles tendon. The final illustration shows the surgical reconstruction of the tendon. Labeled structures include: the gastrocnemius muscle, soleus muscle, achilles tendon, tibia, fibula and calcaneus.
