Anatomy of the Spine - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This stock medical exhibit shows a midsagittal view of the anatomy of the spine. The five sections of the spine are depicted. First, the cervical curvature, consisting of seven cervical vertebrae: C1-C7. Second, the thoracic curvature, consisting of twelve thoracic vertebrae: T1-T12. Third, the lumbar curvature, consisting of five lumbar vertebrae: L1-L5. Fourth, the sacrum, consisting of five fused vertebrae. Fifth, the coccyx, consisting of four fused vertebrae. Other labeled structures include the skull, spinal cord, vertebral body, intervertebral disc and spinous process.
