This medical illustration series depicts the anatomy of the knee joint shown from both mid-sagittal (cut-away) and superior (top) views. Labeled structures include the tendon of the quadriceps femoris muscle, femur, patella, infrapatellar fat pad, meniscus, patellar ligament, tibia, femoral condyle, anterior cruciate ligament, fibula, medial meniscus, lateral meniscus, posterior cruciate ligament, popliteal blood vessels, medial/lateral collateral ligaments, tibial nerve and common peroneal nerve.
