This series of medical illustrations shows atherosclerotic coronary artery disease (atherosclerosis) of the heart. The drawings focus primarily on blockages in the following arteries: left anterior descending (LAD) artery, left main coronary artery, circumflex artery, and the right coronary artery. Numbered inset images show the percentage of stenosis, or narrowing, of the blocked arteries.
