Upper Cervical Displacement with Spinal Cord Compression - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This medical exhibit features two sagittal (side cut-away) views of the upper cervical spine comparing normal upper cervical anatomy to the pre-operative condition showing an arthritic condition with a fracture of the odontoid and posterior displacement of C1 and the fractured upper odontoid back into the spinal canal causing mind compression of the anterior aspect of the spinal cord.
